Design Director (relocation to Singapore)

An internationally recognised hospitality design practice is looking to appoint a Design Director in Singapore as part of a long term expansion across Asia.

This is a senior leadership role aimed at experienced designers currently working in the Middle East who may be considering a move into Asia.

The position is open to candidates from either an architectural or interior design background, provided they bring strong hospitality project experience.

The successful candidate will take creative leadership across major hospitality projects throughout Asia, working closely with global hotel operators and high profile developers.

You will be responsible for shaping the design direction from concept through to delivery, ensuring the original vision and design quality are maintained across complex, large scale developments.

You will lead multidisciplinary design teams, support senior project leads and act as a key client facing figure throughout the design process. The role will involve mentoring designers within the studio and contributing to the wider creative direction and culture of the practice.

The studio is internationally established with a strong reputation for luxury hospitality projects including hotels, resorts and branded residences.

They work with leading international operators and developers and are known for design quality, longevity of staff and strong studio leadership.
