Design Director

We are looking for somebody from the Middle East market to relocate to Southeast Asia, we need somebody with international design studio experience.

I'm representing an internationally recognised hospitality design practice looking to appoint two senior leaders as part of a considered, long-term growth strategy across Asia.

These are senior-level hires. We're open to either Lead Designers with the potential and ambition to step up, or established Design Directors who already bring strong leadership experience.

Design Director (Architecture or ID) Singapore

This role can be architecture or interior design led, depending on background.

• Overall creative leadership for major hospitality projects across Asia
• Setting design direction from concept through delivery
• Leading multidisciplinary teams and senior project leads
• Acting as a key client-facing figure with international operators and developers
• Protecting design quality, brand and commercial intent across multiple projects
• Playing a central role in mentoring senior staff and shaping studio culture

Interior Design Director Bangkok

This position is interior design focused, with a strong emphasis on hospitality and F&B.

• Creative and strategic leadership of hospitality and resort projects
• Oversight of concept development, FF&E direction and detailed design
• Leading and developing local teams while coordinating with international studios
• Working closely with clients to translate brand into built form
• Ensuring design integrity, consistency and delivery across complex projects
• Supporting the long-term growth and positioning of the Bangkok studio

The practice is internationally established with a strong reputation in luxury hospitality, hotels, resorts and branded residences. They work with global hotel operators and high-profile developers and are known for design quality, longevity of staff and strong leadership.

Senior roles in Singapore and Bangkok rarely come to market due to visa and relocation constraints. In this case, the studio is fully committed to supporting international candidates through that process.
