Design Management Architect for one of our partners, a leader in the real estate field.
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Design Manager, the Design Senior Architect is responsible for the day-to-day project(s) activities including internal and external coordination and communications. In addition to maintaining set objectives for the project(s) he/she is assigned for, as well as ensuring accuracy and highest quality regarding the technical performance, time schedule, and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Development Management / Development Controls team during the project preparation, scheduling, and specs acquisition phases.
- Assist in managing the outsourced Consultants/Architects in developing creative and innovative architectural concepts, designs and plans for projects.
- Assist in preparing initial action plans and outline design schedules for new Projects.
- Compile data required for the outsourced consultant's design process from kick-off till completion.
- Prepare analysis reports, technical studies, and areas breakdowns for projects.
- Assist in preparing the Design management documents that are out of the outsourced Consultants scope of work such as request for proposal (RFP), Terms of reference (TOR), Projects breakdown (components & areas schedules)
- Assist in preparing periodical Design progress reports.
- Assist the Design Manager in coordinating the Project review process with External Consultants.
- Attend the Design progress meetings with the Consultants/Suppliers when needed.
- Develop graphic and narrative reports on project sites and land planning.
- Assist in reviewing the design document received from the outsourced consultant in AutoCAD or Revit.
- Maintain design plan documents such as finish schedules, specifications, product / room matrixes, templates, schedules, and all project-related documentation whether hard copies or electronic folders.
- Guide new Team Members (Junior Architects) to smoothly blend in the company culture and act as their mentor while they are being handed over with their job responsibilities.
- Assist the Architecture Design Manager in providing Junior Architects with the necessary support and training to fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
- Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, with real estate or construction background.
Skills:
- Good command of English Language.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work with design software like AutoCAD & BIM.
- ERP user & exposure to ERP implementation is preferable.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office365 Apps and its applications.
