We are seeking a highly experienced Design Manager to lead our Architecture Department, with a strong focus on luxury residential projects and selected high-end commercial developments. This role requires a seasoned professional with both design leadership and technical architectural expertise, capable of driving projects from concept through to authority approvals and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the full architectural design lifecycle from concept design to detailed design and project delivery
- Manage and oversee primarily luxury residential projects, with involvement in high-end commercial developments
- Provide both creative design direction and technical architectural leadership across all stages
- Ensure all designs comply with UAE regulations, including authority requirements such as Trakhees and Dubai Municipality
- Review, approve, and guide architectural drawings, specifications, and material selections
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Manage authority submissions, approvals, and design compliance processes
- Mentor and lead a team of architects and designers, ensuring high-quality output
- Monitor project timelines, design quality, and deliverables
Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in architecture, with a strong portfolio in luxury residential projects in the UAE
- Proven experience in a design management role
- Strong technical architecture background with hands-on design capability
- In-depth knowledge of Trakhees, Dubai Municipality, and other UAE authority regulations
- Experience handling authority approvals and submission processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Arabic Speaker
