JASARA PMC is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Design Manager with expertise in IT, AV, and MEP systems. As the Design Manager for IT, AV, and MEP, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and coordination of technology, audiovisual, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of these systems into the overall design and construction process.
In this role, you will lead a team of design professionals and provide technical expertise to ensure that IT, AV, and MEP systems are designed to meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulations. You will play a key role in driving innovation and efficiency in the design and implementation of these systems.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the design and coordination of IT, AV, and MEP systems for projects
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate these systems into the overall design
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
Review and analyze design drawings and specifications
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the design team
Monitor and manage design schedules and budgets
Coordinate with construction teams to resolve design-related issues during construction phase
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in IT, AV, and MEP systems
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and coordination of IT, AV, and MEP systems
Strong knowledge of IT, AV, and MEP systems and design principles
Experience with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
Proficiency in design software and tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Experience in the construction industry is preferred
