Position: Design Manager (Landscape)
Work Location : Abu Dhabi City
Working hours/ days: Monday - Friday (Weekly Off - Saturday / Sunday) | 48 hours weekly.
Job Essentials
- This is a Key role in Landscape related to - Strategy, Planning and Design Development , including managing all aspects of project scopes: set up, Concept design and project management, stakeholder Management, client interface, Team Management etc.
- Expert understanding of the aesthetic, technical, resource, and financial aspects of landscape architecture.
- Plans, organizes, and supervises the development and preparation of landscape design plans, specifications, estimates, and other contract documents.
- Reviews and makes recommendations concerning landscape architecture and design, and makes final decisions about the design of specific projects.
- Understanding of production techniques, procedures, standards, industry codes, health and safety requirements and sustainability regulations.
- Provide guidance on plant selection, irrigation systems, materials, and sustainable design practices.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture / Master Planning or similar qualifications.
- Minimum10+ years of relevant experience on various mixed use, largescale, Public Parks, Irrigation networks Landscape projects.
- Demonstrates initiative and a strategic approach to team delivery.
- Strong, persuasive communicator with excellent verbal presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex design concepts to clients and staff.
- Advanced knowledge of Local Authority codes and standards.
- Thorough knowledge of costs and uses of construction materials used in landscape design.
