About The Role
As a Developer Sitecore Manager, you will spearhead the design, development, and support of a cutting-edge, multi-tenant Sitecore CMS platform. This critical role emphasizes backend Sitecore development along with RESTful API integrations and .NET-based services hosted on Azure App Services. You will ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability while collaborating closely with various teams to integrate Sitecore with external systems. Your analytical and problem-solving abilities will be essential in guiding the team through complex issues, ensuring you deliver swift and effective resolutions.
What You'll Do
Business Requirements & Documentation
- Understand and document business requirements effectively.
- Document solutions and procedures, training personnel on best practices.
- Write and validate User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
Application Development
- Demonstrate technical expertise in Sitecore and .NET application development.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain software applications.
- Create complex layouts and templates for diverse scenarios.
- Implement schema designs and types accurately.
Development Process & Quality Assurance
- Manage the full development cycle from conception to continuous improvement.
- Provide Unit Tests and support QA with automated testing fixtures.
- Troubleshoot system issues and deliver appropriate fixes.
Methodologies & Standards
- Adhere to SCRUM software development methodologies.
- Comply with best practices for Sitecore platform support.
System Support & Management
- Oversee incident and problem management for Sitecore.
- Ensure continuous system availability and performance.
- Support non-functional requirement specifications and benchmarking.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- Overall experience of 5 to 8 years of experience with 2-3 years of Content Management system experience working with one or more CMS packages.
- Sitecore 9.x certification
- Candidates with Sitecore certification for technical consultants will have an advantage.
- Proven experience with Sitecore development in a .NET ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in C#, Core .NET, COM, ASP.NET and Sitecore modules.
- Expert in Sitecore foundational concepts, Proficient in layout design, Sub layouts, Templates, Workflows and Security.
- Strong Sitecore admin skills and System Maintenance
- Ability to develop and support helix based architecture platform
- Proficient knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management and delivery processes.
- Strong debugging skill to find quick root cause and solution
- Implement security configuration using groups, roles and permissions.
- Good understanding of best practices for implementing content personalization solutions to enable targeted content delivery using Sitecore Profiling and personalization
- Good communication skills in explaining the SiteCore CMS features to end users
- Define and design the API integrations with other systems using Azure services.
- Experience of using Devops process and pipelines for application CI/CD.
Desirable
- Experience with Azure App Services.
- Familiarity with SCRUM methodologies.
- Knowledge of best practices in documentation and process improvement.
