DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to support and improve our production systems for an oil and gas business. The role focuses on reliability, security, automation, and day-to-day operations across Linux servers, containerized applications, and cloud infrastructure.

Experience with WHM/cPanel administration is desirable. The engineer will support and maintain the organization's email infrastructure, helping ensure reliable and secure IMAP/SMTP operations and contributing to monitoring and best practices across the mail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve Linux server operations (hardening, patching, performance tuning, backups).
• Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for containerized workloads.
• Operate Docker / Docker Compose environments and support application deployments.
• Monitoring and alerting (Grafana/Prometheus/Loki or similar), log analysis, incident response.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred): EC2, security groups, IAM, storage, networking.
• WHM/cPanel administration: email services health, IMAP/SMTP troubleshooting, Dovecot/Exim log analysis, quota/inode checks, mailbox integrity, and client sync issues.
