Job Summary
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable deployment pipelines and production environments. Working within an agile technology team, the role focuses on enabling continuous delivery, ensuring production readiness, strengthening DevSecOps practices, and integrating modern cloud and infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and security compliance.
- Collaborate with development, system administration, and security teams to implement secure and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Evaluate and manage cloud-based and on-premises deployment environments.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Manage and monitor production environments, ensuring alerting, logging, and health monitoring mechanisms are in place.
- Automate development and release processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Deploy publicly facing web and mobile applications through automated pipelines.
- Implement and maintain DevSecOps pipelines incorporating SCA, SAST, and DAST tools.
- Explore emerging technologies and build Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to enhance platform capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and production deployments.
- Experience working with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Experience deploying web and mobile applications through automated pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication skills.
- CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Containerization tools (Docker, container registries).
- Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Ansible).
- DevSecOps tools and practices (SCA, SAST, DAST).
- Monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Datadog).
- Experience with package managers (Maven, NPM, NuGet).
- Strong understanding of system architecture and scalable design principles.
- Proficiency in Git version control.
- Experience managing multiple development and production environments.
- Familiarity with mobile SDLC and mobile application distribution consoles.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to design and maintain scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure.
- Ability to ensure production readiness and system reliability.
- Ability to evaluate new technologies and implement improvements proactively.
