About The Role
We are seeking a
DevOps / Cloud Engineer to build and maintain a secure, scalable, and automated AWS infrastructure for Dwelleo's AI-powered platform. You will own cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code, working closely with backend and AI teams to ensure reliable deployments, high availability, and smooth system operations as the platform scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS-based infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Jenkins.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
- Ensure high availability and auto-scaling for workloads via ECS, EKS, Lambda, ALB, Auto Scaling Groups.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus/Grafana, and set up alerting systems.
- Implement security best practices including IAM roles/policies, KMS encryption, Secrets Manager, and VPC hardening.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker, ECS Fargate, or EKS (Kubernetes).
- Optimize cloud costs using AWS Budgets, Savings Plans, and Spot Instances.
- Support real-time data workflows and AI inference pipelines using services like S3, Glue, Athena, Bedrock/SageMaker.
- Collaborate closely with backend, data, and AI teams to ensure smooth deployments and system integrations.
- Handle release processes, rollback strategies, and system incident response.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 37 years of experience in DevOps/System Administrator roles.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS Core Services: EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, CDK.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management workflows.
- Experience with Docker, container registries, and managing microservices.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with Linux administration and cloud networking concepts (NAT, VPC, subnets, routing).
- Security-aware: able to design secure systems using encryption, IAM, audit logs, and secrets management.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for cloud-native applications.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AI/ML workloads (e.g., setting up pipelines with SageMaker, Bedrock, or custom model deployment).
- Familiarity with data lakes and big data processing tools (Glue, Athena, Redshift, Kinesis).
- Exposure to chatbot infrastructure (OpenAI integrations, token usage analysis, caching strategies).
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies (Spot fleets, auto-pause RDS, S3 lifecycle rules).
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect.
