We're looking for a DevSecOps for a full-time hybrid role at EFFY, for our offices in Cairo, Egypt and/or in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to:
- Promote security best practices at the enterprise level (e.g., password policies, data encryption approaches, secret sharing, etc.).
- Integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipeline, fostering a DevSecOps culture.
- Automate vulnerability scanning, security testing, and compliance processes.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure a secure environment from the design phase.
- Manage environments in public or private clouds.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and proposing preventive actions.
- Promote resilient architectures and approaches to ensure 24/7 availability.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices (GDPR, ISO 27001, OWASP, etc.).
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven DevSecOps experience, including implementation and operation of secure CI/CD pipelines
- Solid knowledge of application, pipeline, and container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with security analysis tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle)
- Team spirit, critical thinking, and a passion for solving technical challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Availability to travel
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written - mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree or other higher education degree in a related field relevant to the role
