Overview:
SequentTal is looking for a highly skilled and motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our innovative and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security, development, and operations, with a passion for continuous improvement and collaboration. You will be responsible for ensuring the security, stability, and efficiency of our software development lifecycle and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices.
- Implement, maintain, and improve security tools, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and respond to security events, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments, risk analysis, and code reviews to identify and remediate potential threats.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring processes.
- Continuously improve the security posture of our products, infrastructure, and processes.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on secure coding practices and security best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and software development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevSecOps, security engineering, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and their security features.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP are a plus.
