We are looking for a Digital Construction Engineer who understands ISO 19650 standards, Common Data Environments (CDE), and multidisciplinary model coordination, and can confidently represent digital strategy to internal stakeholders and clients.

Your Role

Reporting to the Digital Construction / BIM Manager, you will support the development and implementation of BIM standards, coordinate 3D models, and manage CDE workflows across project stages - from tender to handover.

You will ensure model integrity, clash resolution, and compliance with ISO 19650 frameworks while supporting digital reporting and project performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Governance & Documentation

• Support development and communication of BIM and information requirements
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of BEP, MIDP, EIR, LAP and related documentation
• Collaborate in developing digital standards, templates, and procedures
• Ensure ISO 19650 and BS 1192 compliance

Model Coordination & Quality Control

• Set up BIM workflows and coordinate multidisciplinary 3D models
• Identify and resolve clashes using Navisworks / Revizto
• Conduct QA/QC checks on models (internal teams & subcontractors)
• Perform model validation against IFC, COBie, and openBIM standards
• Represent BIM in coordination and progress meetings

CDE & Digital Platforms

• Configure and maintain CDE workflows (Aconex, BIM 360)
• Manage document control integration within EDMS platforms
• Monitor data exchange protocols and version control

Digital Reporting & Innovation

• Support digital tendering efforts
• Contribute to project-level digital dashboards and reporting
• Assist in 4D/5D BIM workflows
• Provide BIM training and guidance to internal departments

What We're looking For

• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and BS 1192.
• Proficiency in BIM authoring tools (e.g., Revit, Tekla, Archicad).
• Experience in BIM coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks, Revizto).
• Familiarity with openBIM standards (IFC, COBie) and model checking (e.g., Solibri).
• Knowledge of CDE platforms (Aconex, BIM 360) and scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).
• Visual programming (Dynamo) and Power BI experience preferred.
• Understanding of 4D/5D BIM workflows and outputs.
• Strong communicator with collaborative mindset.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive.
• Resilient under pressure with strong time management.
• Passionate about digital innovation in construction.

Highly Preferred

• Data centre or mission-critical project experience
• 4D/5D BIM integration experience
• Dynamo scripting or visual programming
• Power BI experience
• Experience presenting digital strategy to clients
