Accountabilities
- Automation Strategy & Execution: Identify and evaluate manual workflows for automation across Flight Operations and other operational areas. Design and deploy scalable solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, and similar Logic Apps.
- Tool Development: Create and maintain custom dashboards, reporting tools, and digital applications using Power BI, Tableau, SQL or similar analytics platforms that enhance visibility, improve decision-making, and support strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and external technology partners to ensure digital solutions meet operational needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with data privacy regulations, audit standards, and information security policies when designing and managing digital tools.
- Change Enablement: Champion adoption of digital tools by supporting training, documentation, and continuous engagement with end users.
- Process Optimization: Map and refine existing workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
- System Maintenance & Support: Monitor and update digital tools to ensure reliability, relevance, and alignment with evolving business needs.
- Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and best practices in automation, bringing forward innovative ideas to continuously enhance Etihads operational performance.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma required. Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in aviation, preferably within Flight Operations or a similar operational environment.
- Proven track record in implementing digital or automation projects with measurable business impact.
- Strong understanding of aviation workflows and regulatory standards, especially those relevant to crew operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, SQL, Power Automate, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
