Job Description

Position: Digital Platform Specialist

Duration : 1st March 2026 to May 2026

Location: Riyadh/Jeddah

Eligibility: KSA nationals only in compliance with local KSA law

We are seeking a skilled Digital Platform Specialist to support a football event taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia . This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with strong operational, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills who thrives in a dynamic, high-profile sports environment.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Management & Maintenance

Oversee day-to-day operations of event-related digital platforms and competition systems

Manage and monitor digital platforms throughout the tournament lifecycle

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot systems; implement updates, patches, and enhancements

Ensure technical and functional requirements are met in alignment with event standards

Collaborate with external suppliers, vendors, and development teams on implementation and issue resolution

Support system readiness testing, UAT, and venue deployment before and during match days

Ensure compliance with governance standards, security protocols, and operational guidelines

Performance & Analytics

Monitor platform performance using analytics tools and dashboards

Track KPIs including uptime, adoption, engagement, and response times

Analyze user behavior to enhance user experience and platform effectiveness

Produce performance reports and dashboards for tournament leadership

Provide data-driven recommendations to improve reliability and scalability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Liaise with Venue IT teams to ensure infrastructure readiness and integration

Coordinate with AFC technology teams, product partners, and suppliers

Work with communications, marketing, accreditation, and operations teams to ensure consistent user experience

Support user onboarding and training

Act as a key point of contact for digital platform issues during the event

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in digital platform management, digital operations, or IT systems administration

Hands-on experience configuring and supporting enterprise or event-based systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience with KPI monitoring, reporting tools, and dashboards

Experience working with vendors and technology partners

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced event environment

Experience in sports events or large-scale technology environments is a plus
