Job Description

Role Summary

The Digital Transformation & Digital Banking Products Manager is responsible for driving the Bank's digital transformation initiatives by designing, developing, and launching innovative digital banking services and payment solutions.

The role leads the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products across the Bank's digital channels, ensuring alignment with the Bank's strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and customer experience objectives.

The position also focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, increasing digital adoption, and generating new revenue streams through innovative digital financial services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy & Product Development

  • Support the execution of the Bank's Digital Transformation Strategy aligned with long-term organizational objectives.
  • Develop and manage the digital product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on customer needs, market trends, and business impact.
  • Lead the end-to-end digital product lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, launch, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new digital banking products, payment solutions, and value-added services.
  • Ensure all digital initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.

2. Digital Payments & Innovation

  • Drive the development and enhancement of digital payment products and services.
  • Identify emerging technologies and payment trends to strengthen the Bank's digital offerings.
  • Collaborate with payment networks, technology partners, and vendors to implement new payment capabilities.
  • Support initiatives that increase digital payment revenue, market share, and customer adoption.

3. Product Delivery & Agile Execution

  • Apply Agile product management practices to ensure efficient delivery of digital initiatives.
  • Conduct sprint planning, backlog management, and release coordination with technology teams.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality digital products that meet business and customer expectations.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and continuously optimize digital services.

4. Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Retail Banking, IT, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with external partners such as technology vendors, payment networks, and service providers.
  • Participate in cross-functional committees and transformation initiatives across the Bank.

5. Market Intelligence & Customer Insights

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and fintech innovations to support product innovation.
  • Use product analytics and customer insights to drive data-driven decision making.

6. Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on project progress, product performance, and digital initiatives.
  • Track key performance indicators and ensure accurate reporting of transformation outcomes.
  • Escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies when required.

7. Team Leadership & Development

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of digital transformation team members.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to improve performance and skills.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.

Professional Certifications (Preferred)

  • Digital Banking Certification
  • Digital Payments or FinTech related certifications
  • Product Management or Agile certifications

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in Digital Banking, Digital Payments, or Digital Product Management within the financial services industry.
