Role Description The Direct Sales Agent is a full-time role responsible for promoting and selling MetLife Egypt's insurance and financial solutions to individual and corporate customers. Based in Markaz Sohag in a hybrid work arrangement, the role combines on-site client meetings and office work with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day tasks include identifying prospective customers, presenting suitable insurance and financial products, explaining policy features and benefits, and supporting customers through the application and onboarding process. The Direct Sales Agent maintains regular contact with clients, handles inquiries, provides after-sales service, and collaborates with colleagues to meet individual and team sales targets while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to build relationships, understand client needs, and provide supportive guidance.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex information simply.
  • Sales skills with a proven interest in or experience with sales, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals in a target-driven environment.
  • Basic Finance knowledge to understand and explain insurance, retirement, and wealth management products and their financial implications for customers.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work setting.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to manage multiple client accounts and tasks effectively.
  • Comfort using digital tools and CRM systems to track leads, customer interactions, and sales activities.
  • Previous experience in insurance, banking, or financial services sales is an advantage.
  • Relevant educational background in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
