About the Role

The Director of Video Sales leads Arabsat's commercial strategy for video services, driving revenue growth across broadcast, media, and enterprise video segments. The role oversees the performance of the video sales team, manages key media partnerships, strengthens market positioning, and ensures successful adoption of Arabsat's video solutions across all target markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Video Sales team, setting targets and ensuring achievement of commercial objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth across media, broadcast, and enterprise video segments.
  • Develop sales strategies to expand market share, increase renewals, and secure new long-term contracts.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with broadcasters, media groups, OTT platforms, and key customers.
  • Lead major negotiations, bids, and tender processes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategy.
  • Oversee key account management to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and service excellence.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, Finance, and Technical Operations to deliver integrated video solutions.
  • Ensure compliance, accurate forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or relevant field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience in satellite, telecom, media, or ICT.
  • 10+ years in senior leadership roles managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven success in video/broadcast sales, contract negotiation, and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong experience with broadcasters, media platforms, and OTT ecosystems.
