Director, Corporate Development

This role will lead the evaluation and execution of strategic investments, partnerships and transactions aligned with Alat's growth ambitions. The Director will manage the full deal lifecycle, from opportunity assessment and strategic rationale through valuation, structuring, negotiation, approvals, and closing, while working closely with senior leadership, business units and external advisers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and priorities strategic investment, partnership and transaction opportunities
• Lead feasibility assessments, financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring and commercial negotiations
• Develop robust business cases, investment recommendations and transaction materials for senior leadership and approval committees
• Coordinate financial, commercial, legal, technical and operational due diligence with internal stakeholders and external advisers
• Manage transaction progress, key risks, dependencies and milestones across the deal lifecycle
• Build alignment across business units, functional teams and external partners to support effective execution
• Support governance, transaction approvals, documentation and closing activities
• Contribute to Alat's broader corporate development strategy and long-term growth objectives

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
• Master's degree or MBA preferred
• 12+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, investments, private equity, investment banking, or a related field
• Strong experience in transaction execution, financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and negotiation
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
