The Project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You'll Be Responsible For

  • Leads feasibility studies and advises on procurement strategies, contract selection and overall commercial approach.
  • Manages full cost planning, estimating and cost control processes, including ownership and presentation of cost plans and reports.
  • Oversees the endtoend procurement lifecycle, ensuring effective prequalification, tendering, analysis, selection and contract preparation.
  • Approves all contract documentation, warranties, bonds and valuations, ensuring accurate certification of completed works.
  • Leads cost checking, valuation and postcontract reporting, identifying impacts from design changes, construction activities and clientdriven costs.
  • Holds accountability for evaluating delay claims and additional cost submissions, resolving challenges from stakeholders.
  • Ensures successful project closeout, including issuing practical completion, makinggooddefects and final completion certificates, and agreeing final accounts.
  • Provides strategic leadership, driving performance improvement, team excellence, delivery of KPIs and contribution to netzero carbon goals.

You'll Need To Have

  • Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).
  • Professional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS (or equivalent) and moving towards fellowship, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholder.
