Job Description:
The Director General – National Cybersecurity is a high-level executive responsible for establishing and leading the nation's cybersecurity framework, policies, and strategies. This role requires a visionary leader with profound knowledge of cybersecurity risks, digital transformation, and technology governance. The Director General will work closely with government agencies, private sector partners, and international organizations to create coordinated responses to cyber threats and incidents. The successful candidate will drive the development of cybersecurity standards, oversee incident response mechanisms, and ensure compliance with national and international regulations. This position requires exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, and cloud computing as they relate to cybersecurity.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing national cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, and programs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Extensive experience in collaborating with government departments, law enforcement, and international agencies to enhance situational awareness and incident response capabilities.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity compliance requirements, risk management frameworks (NIST, ISO), and incident response protocols at a national level.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects within tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:
