The Director Lean Portfolio & Agile Transformation leads enterprise-wide Agile evolution, embedding a Lean operating model that accelerates value delivery, improves predictability, and tightly aligns strategy, funding, and execution. This role acts as a transformation catalyst and executive Agile coach, owning Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) and the Lean Centre of Excellence (LCoE), while shaping sustainable ways of working across IT and business.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead large-scale Agile & Lean transformation across IT and Business
- Shift from project-based delivery to value-stream and product-oriented models
- Own Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) including demand intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and value tracking
- Establish and lead the Lean Centre of Excellence (LCoE)
- Coach CIO, senior leaders, and product teams on outcome-based funding and Agile governance
- Design AgileHybrid operating models in complex, multi-vendor environments
- Drive cultural change, improve portfolio flow, predictability, and time-to-market
Experience & Skills:
- 15+ years in IT leadership, delivery, or transformation roles
- Proven track record in leading scaled Agile / Lean transformations
- Strong experience in Lean Portfolio Management
- Telecom or large enterprise experience preferred
- SAFe / Agile Coaching certifications advantageous
- Executive presence with strong influencing and systems-thinking capability
