In this position you will lead the engineering and deployment of AI applications across the enterprise. You will be responsible for building scalable and compliant systems including conversational AI agents and operational automation tools. As a senior leader you will manage a team of specialists to ensure technical excellence while architecting modern infrastructure that supports the future of banking.
Discover the responsibilities
- Engineer next generation AI platforms featuring large language model based agents and secure knowledge systems
- Architect AI and ML platform components while implementing best practices for operational excellence
- Build and manage cloud native infrastructure and machine learning pipelines using major cloud providers
- Lead and mentor a team of five to ten direct reports to ensure performance goals and development objectives are achieved
- Act as a technical translator between business units and IT departments to identify opportunities for leveraging data
- Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices and evaluate emerging tools to improve platform reliability
- Oversee the implementation of departmental policies and procedures to maintain high service standards for stakeholders
- Participate in rapid prototyping and stay engaged with global AI communities to keep the organisation at the forefront of emerging trends
Discover the requirements
- At least eight years of experience leading AI or ML engineering and large scale digital product development
- Proven track record in deploying enterprise grade AI solutions within the banking or financial services sector
- Strong expertise in large language models plus transformers and vector databases
- Proficiency in Python along with cloud platforms and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Expertise in building scalable microservices architectures and managing complex data environments
- Bachelor degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence Master degree in a related field is preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse functional teams
