About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Catering (Events/ Catering/ Private) to lead and elevate our luxury catering and events portfolio. This role is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, sales, design, and flawless execution of high-end events, including weddings, corporate galas, social celebrations, and bespoke private experiences. The ideal candidate combines refined taste, exceptional client relationship skills, and strong commercial acumen with a passion for delivering world-class hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall catering and events strategy, positioning the brand at the top of the luxury market
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive sales efforts, strategic partnerships, and premium client acquisition
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for high-profile and VIP clients, ensuring an elevated and personalized experience
  • Oversee the conceptualization, planning, and execution of complex, large-scale, and high-touch events
  • Collaborate closely with culinary, operations, design, and service teams to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional quality
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, pricing strategies, forecasting, and P&L performance
  • Maintain impeccable standards in presentation, service, branding, and guest experience
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing events and sales team
  • Negotiate and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and partnerships aligned with luxury standards
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in luxury events, gastronomy, design, and experiential hospitality
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Qualifications & Experience

    • 812+ years of progressive experience in luxury catering, hospitality, or high-end events management
    • Proven track record of managing premium events and high-net-worth clientele
    • Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
    • Exceptional sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
    • Sophisticated aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail
    • Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
