Role Summary

We are seeking a Engineering Director who is responsible for providing overall leadership, direction, and management of all engineering functions across the project. The role ensures that all technical deliverables meet contractual requirements, international standards, client specifications, and regulatory approvals while maintaining constructability, cost efficiency, and program alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical review of all Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings, contractor shop drawings, and design modifications.
• Lead Value Engineering (VE) workshops to optimize design solutions while maintaining quality and functionality.
• Ensure coordination between all engineering disciplines (Civil, Structural, MEP, Landscape, Pitch Technology, IT/Broadcast).
• Manage the Engineering Review Management process, ensuring timely responses to contractor submissions.
• Liaise with the Lead Design Consultant (LDC) to resolve design clarifications and ensure design intent is maintained.
• Verify compliance with specialized FIFA requirements for broadcast, lighting, security, and pitch technology.
• Review and approve technical specifications, material approvals, and method statements.
• Chair technical review meetings and provide regular status reports to the Project Director.
• Oversee the as-built drawing review and approval process for project handover.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Mechanical). Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or mixed-use projects
• Proven experience in stadiums, sports complexes, or training facilities is mandatory.
• Professional registration (PE, CEng, or equivalent). PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of international building codes, FIFA technical requirements, and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with Saudi building codes and local authority approval processes is highly desirable.
