Reporting to: Group CEO

About the Role

Digitiz is hiring on behalf of a leading logistics and road freight group seeking a Director of Growth to drive commercial expansion, business development, and M&A initiatives across the region.

This is a high-impact leadership role focused on scaling operations, entering new markets, and identifying strategic acquisition opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Expansion

• Develop and execute the group's growth roadmap across GCC and international markets

• Identify new business opportunities, trade lanes, and verticals

• Lead market entry strategies including partnerships and greenfield expansion

Business Development

• Drive enterprise sales and key account acquisition

• Build relationships with major clients across FMCG, retail, industrial, and e-commerce sectors

• Lead large-scale tenders, contracts, and strategic partnerships

M&A & Strategic Partnerships

• Identify and evaluate acquisition targets, joint ventures, and partnerships

• Lead due diligence, financial modeling, and deal execution

• Oversee post-merger integration and value creation

Commercial Performance

• Own and deliver revenue growth and profitability targets

• Monitor KPIs including margin, utilization, and cost efficiency

• Collaborate with operations to ensure scalable and efficient growth

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with executive leadership on strategic decision-making

• Lead cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and finance

• Build a high-performance growth and commercial team

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or road freight

• Proven track record in business development and revenue growth

• Strong experience in M&A, investments, or strategic partnerships

• Deep understanding of GCC logistics market

• Strong financial acumen (valuation, ROI, deal structuring)

• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multi-country expansion

• Background in 3PL, trucking, or freight platforms

• MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus

• Revenue growth (YoY)

• Market expansion (new regions launched)

• Successful M&A deals and integrations

• Key account acquisition and retention

• Profitability and margin improvement
