Role Description This part-time remote Director of Hospitality role at BAD GAME STUDIO oversees the overall hospitality experience for internal teams, partners, and community events. The Director of Hospitality will design and implement hospitality standards for virtual and in-person gatherings, including coordinating food service vendors, organizing event logistics, and ensuring high-quality guest experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and managing hospitality for company meetings and game-related events, aligning budgets with hospitality goals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing and operations. The role also involves negotiating with hospitality and event partners, monitoring service performance, and continuously improving hospitality processes based on feedback and data. The Director will maintain documentation, create playbooks for repeatable experiences, and uphold health, safety, and compliance standards relevant to hospitality services.
Qualifications

Strong Food Service and Event Management skills to design, coordinate, and oversee hospitality programs for virtual and in-person events.
Proven Customer Service and Sales abilities to deliver exceptional guest experiences and manage partner relationships that support hospitality initiatives.
Experience with Budgeting and cost control to plan, track, and optimize hospitality expenditures while maintaining quality standards.
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a remote environment.
Experience leading hospitality, events, or operations in entertainment, gaming, or related fields is highly beneficial.
Comfort with digital collaboration tools (e.g., video conferencing, project management platforms) and the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement hospitality policies, procedures, and best practices focused on inclusivity and accessibility.
Relevant education or training in hospitality management, event management, business, or a related discipline is a plus.
