Director of Investment Operations

Hays is working with a leading investment firm as they are looking to hire a Director of Operations to work directly with the CEO and oversee key control and operational functions across the business, the role can be based out of the UAE or Bahrain. They are looking for an experience Operational professional with a strong background within the Investment ecosystem.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Operations will own the firm's endtoend operating framework, ensuring strong governance, regulatory discipline, and execution excellence across the platform. Working closely with the CEO, the role will translate strategy into scalable operating processes, providing oversight across compliance, finance, and transaction execution while ensuring the firm's operating model supports disciplined growth. The position will act as a control point between strategy and execution, strengthening decisionmaking, board engagement, and stakeholder confidence, while continuously optimising how the business identifies, executes, and manages investments.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance or related field
• 10+ years of experience in investment management organisations
• Preferably 7+ years of experience in Big 4 (FS clients only)
• Strong understanding of the asset management / investment firm operating model and how control functions enable execution at pace
• Comfortable operating as a senior business partner to the CEO and working across multiple functions with confidence and maturity.
