The Director of Revenue Egypt is responsible for overseeing the overall revenue management strategy across the entire hotel portfolio in Egypt, with a focus on El Gouna, and for providing strategic oversight of other OHM destinations within the country. The role increases profitability, broadens market share, advances pricing excellence, enhances forecasting accuracy, and optimizes distribution across all properties, while ensuring strong alignment with the corporate commercial strategy.
This leadership position requires comprehensive expertise in multi-property revenue optimization, strong strategic insight, and the ability to guide teams through data-driven decision-making. The Director champions accurate forecasting, strategic rate positioning, and the optimal utilization of RMS/PMS/CRS systems, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Strategic Revenue Leadership
- Lead the development and implementation of the comprehensive revenue strategy for all Egyptian properties, ensuring alignment with OHM's corporate commercial objectives.
- Supervise pricing, segmentation strategy, market positioning, and tactical revenue initiatives to optimize RevPAR, ADR, and total revenue per available room.
- Formulate comprehensive long- and short-term revenue strategies by segment to capitalize on opportunities and bridge performance gaps.
- Assist hotels in preparing annual revenue budgets and ongoing forecasts, maintaining forecast accuracy within 5%.
- Direct the development of Total Revenue Management, integrating revenue streams from Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Recreation, Ancillary services, and Apartments.
B. Market Analysis & Performance Management
- Monitor STR performance, competitive sets, and demand trends to ensure robust ARI and RGI outperformance.
- Continuously evaluate market dynamics within Hurghada, the Red Sea region, and primary feeder markets to optimize commercial strategies.
- Conduct monthly performance evaluations, encompassing pace analysis, displacement assessments, pricing audits, and rate integrity verifications.
- Assess and enhance RMS recommendations (IDeaS/FLYR/Duetto) to ensure optimal utilization by property teams.
C. Pricing, Inventory & Distribution Management
- Supervise all facets of inventory management, transient and group optimization, and channel profitability.
- Ensure proper loading, mapping, and governance within CRS, PMS, RMS, and channel management systems.
- Assume responsibility for the Egypt distribution strategy, encompassing OTAs, GDS, DMC partners, direct website, tour operators, and B2B platforms.
- Ensure the integrity of rate parity, accuracy of content, effectiveness of campaigns, and optimal administration of channel mix.
- Lead the implementation of stop-sell strategies, blackout periods, and yield management controls to maximize profitability during peak times.
D. Groups, Wholesale & Tour Operator Strategy
- Oversee group inventory management, pricing strategies, and conversion analysis across all properties.
- Supervise the contracting strategy for tour operators and DMCs, ensuring rate consistency and profitability.
- Assist the central revenue office in sustaining a strong group pipeline, inquiry process, and achievement of conversion objectives.
E. Commercial Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, Operations, and Finance to ensure strategic alignment.
- Facilitate the weekly commercial meetings with the sales, marketing, and revenue teams.
- Facilitate the monthly SLT Trading meeting with the sales, marketing, and revenue teams.
- Influence promotional strategies, alignments in digital marketing, and tactical initiatives to drive demand.
F. Systems, Processes & Reporting
- Ensure the development of high-quality, dependable BI and reporting dashboards for daily, weekly, monthly, year-over-year, segmentation, and budget versus forecast analyses.
- Facilitate enhancements in system integrations, automation, and data organization in collaboration with BI and IT.
- Establish and uphold Standard Operating Procedures for revenue management, reservations, group bookings, and distribution.
G. Leadership & People Development
- Lead and cultivate multi-property revenue teams throughout El Gouna and Egypt; assure effective succession planning.
- Develop expertise in forecasting, pricing, analytics, RMS utilization, and strategic planning.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture founded on key performance indicators, accountability, and ongoing development.

4. Person Specification
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of progressive revenue management leadership, with at least 5 years at multi-property or cluster level.
- Proven record of driving revenue performance in resort, leisure, or mixed-use destinations.
- Experience in emerging markets or Middle East/Red Sea region highly preferred.
- Primary background in large-scale portfolios, hotels + apartments, or resort towns advantageous with exposure to small economy styled properties.
- Experience communicating with owners office and asset management teams.
Technical Skills
- Expert knowledge of RMS (IDeaS, Duetto), PMS (Opera Cloud), CRS/Channel Manager (SynXis, SiteMinder).
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel, BI tools, STR, rate shopping tools.
- Deep understanding of distribution, OTA contracting, GDS, digital marketing alignment, and pricing models.
