Role Overview
The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead and scale the company's global hiring strategy to support rapid growth, innovation, and business objectives. This role is responsible for building a high-performing recruitment function, attracting top-tier technical and non-technical talent, strengthening employer branding, and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience across all markets.
As a strategic partner to executive leadership, the Director will translate business priorities into workforce plans while continuously improving hiring efficiency, quality, and diversity.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy aligned with company growth plans
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on hiring trends, workforce planning, and talent market insights
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global recruitment team
- Establish scalable hiring frameworks, policies, and governance
Hiring & Delivery
- Oversee recruitment for technical roles (engineering, product, data, AI, cloud, cybersecurity) and corporate functions
- Partner with business leaders to forecast hiring needs and prioritize critical roles
- Ensure consistent, fair, and efficient hiring processes across regions
- Drive hiring excellence for both permanent and contingent workforce
Employer Branding & Talent Marketing
- Develop and strengthen the employer value proposition for a tech audience
- Partner with Marketing and Communications to enhance employer brand presence across digital channels
- Represent the company at industry events, career fairs, and tech communities
Data, Tools & Process Optimization
- Own recruitment analytics, dashboards, and KPIs (time-to-hire, quality of hire, cost-per-hire, DEI metrics)
- Leverage ATS, CRM, and AI-driven sourcing tools to optimize recruitment outcomes
- Continuously improve candidate experience through process innovation and automation
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Embed inclusive hiring practices across all recruitment activities
- Partner with leadership to build diverse pipelines and reduce bias in hiring decisions
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, RPOs, and assessment providers
- Control recruitment budgets and optimize cost efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience hiring at scale within a technology-driven organization
- Strong understanding of technical roles and competitive tech talent markets
- Experience building and scaling recruitment teams in fast-growth environments
