Overview
ember is seeking a highly accomplished Director of VIP Servicing & Operations to lead the delivery of an elite VVIP guest management and concierge programme in Doha. This senior role oversees the full operational ecosystem including on-ground execution, protocol adherence, guest experience quality, supplier management, and strategic coordination, ensuring that every engagement aligns with the expectations of high-ranking individuals, UHNWIs, celebrities, delegations, and senior officials. The position requires a leader with deep GCC experience, exemplary judgment, and the ability to navigate government-facing environments with absolute discretion and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and senior oversight for all VVIP operations, guest experience delivery, protocol-driven hosting, and multi-tier concierge services.
- Lead the execution of complex itineraries, bespoke luxury experiences, and high-security arrangements, ensuring flawless transitions across all touchpoints.
- Serve as the primary operational and diplomatic liaison for high-level stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication, issue escalation, and service governance.
- Ensure operational alignment with national and cultural protocols, including coordination with governmental bodies, protocol departments, and security entities.
- Build and manage a high-performing Qatar-based operations team; implement training standards, service culture frameworks, and continuous development programmes.
- Oversee vendor performance, negotiate premium partnerships, and ensure supplier compliance with ultra-luxury service expectations.
- Drive a 24/7 operational readiness model, including crisis management planning, risk assessments, emergency response protocols, and VIP protection coordination.
- Collaborate closely with HQ leadership across strategy, innovation, travel operations, financial governance, experience design, and commercial oversight.
- Deliver structured reporting, guest satisfaction insights, KPI dashboards, and operational enhancement proposals to senior leadership.
- Ensure meticulous confidentiality, ethical conduct, and the highest level of cultural and professional discretion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years senior leadership experience in VVIP operations, luxury hospitality, UHNW concierge, diplomatic protocol, or government-level hosting within the GCC.
- Proven background managing large-scale, high-stakes itineraries and delegations with complex operational and cultural requirements.
- Strong diplomatic communication skills and exceptional crisis-management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with a 24/7 operational mindset.
- Deep knowledge of Qatar and GCC cultural expectations, protocol standards, premium service networks, and government processes.
- Bilingual ArabicEnglish proficiency is a strong advantage.
