Job Description

Key Accountabilities :

  • Identify and solicit new Private Clients as per assigned targets by recognizing business opportunities for acquiring new customers in the HNI/UHNI space and formulate acquisition initiatives
  • Accountable for opening private banking account(s), as per the client's preference and remain responsible for early engagement and activation of accounts on funding, Investments, Insurance etc.
  • Understand customer needs, financials & suitability and educate customer on financial needs arising at various life stages by ensuring ensure compliance and integrity of the sales process with respect to right sourcing and documentation.
  • Provide complete and comprehensive information on products, services, charges etc. proactively to the customer and ensure best on-boarding service standards
  • Identify and segment the target market for potential new business opportunities including building relationships with key clients, developing a referral network and influencers to augment client list and investment book
  • Deepen & maximize penetration across products thorough customer focused need-based selling & actively promote referrals from existing clients to generate a pipeline of prospects
  • Ensure all business is booked as per laid down procedures and guidelines after all due diligence is carried out with respect to regulatory requirements including but not limited to up-to-date compliance, KYC and client profile on each client
  • Be responsible for delivery of client satisfaction and service quality levels by ensuring that the client's needs are met by performing administrative tasks required to fulfil client requirements.
  • Keep abreast of current economic environment, financial markets, private banking services including but not limited to Trusts, asset management, banking and advisory services so as to have meaningful discussions with NTB prospects and optimize acquisition effectiveness.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks like submitting client's meeting reports, periodic update of MIS is done in a timely manner.
  • In addition to the duties listed, the employee may, from time to time, be required to perform other duties assigned by their manager

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and other requirements :

  • Proven prior experience of 3-5 years in acquiring high-net-worth clients (Priority Banking / Private Banking) or similar experience in customer acquisition for investment products, such as, Mutual Funds, Insurance, equity, fixed-income (bonds) will be preferred.
  • Outstanding network in the private banking industry to support our growth strategy and to push the development agenda for revenue, NTB, NNM etc.
  • First class presentation and communication skills; able to listen, guide and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Team player with the highest professional work ethic and standards who is decisive, innovative and able to cope under pressure
  • High level of professional and personal integrity and compliance standards ensuring all work activities are performed in line with internal and external guidelines and regulatory policies
  • Bachelor's degree from a university or an institute of higher education
  • Professional education or certification in the field of wealth management will be an added advantage
