Al Majed for Oud was established in 1956 with the aim of creating a promising market in the oud trade through the wholesale sector. This success has culminated in over sixty years of experience in the oud, perfume, and related products industry in the Gulf markets. Job Objective:
To ensure the efficient and professional management and execution of all company projects, achieving approved goals and plans, enhancing operational performance, and contributing to expansion and sustainable growth, while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the project portfolio, preparing the annual project plan, and identifying priorities and required resources.
Evaluating project feasibility before commencement and submitting recommendations to the CEO.
Overseeing the entire project lifecycle from inception to closure. Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to agreed-upon schedules, budgets, and standards.
Managing project implementers and supporting companies to ensure their commitment to project deliverables and timelines.
Establishing quality control standards for project execution.
Identifying potential risks and developing plans to address and mitigate them.
Monitoring compliance with safety and governance requirements.
Continuously coordinating with all operational departments to ensure the timely provision of necessary resources for each project.
Ensuring project objectives align with each department's operational priorities and the company's approved plans.
Holding regular meetings with department managers to review project progress, discuss obstacles, and submit recommendations for addressing them.
Documenting all points of contact between projects and departments, clearly defining stakeholders and their responsibilities to ensure smooth implementation.
Building effective communication channels to ensure rapid decision-making, easy information flow, and minimize conflicts or duplication of effort.
Monitoring departments adherence to their assigned roles within each project and reporting any delays or conflicts that threaten implementation to the CEO. Submitting weekly and monthly reports to the CEO, including achievements, challenges, risks, and recommendations.
Representing the Project Management team in executive meetings and relevant committees.
Managing the project management budget cycle and providing input to the budgeting process.
Developing and motivating team members to achieve outstanding performance.
Identifying areas for efficiency improvement and cost reduction without compromising process and service quality.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management or Business.
Master's degree in Project Management or Management is preferred.
Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or equivalent are an advantage.
Experience:
8 to 10 years of experience.
