Job Description

We are seeking a Director, Sales MEA who is responsible for driving the overall sales performance of the MEA region, with a dual focus on managing a portfolio of strategic accounts and leading a team of sales professionals.

This role combines hands-on ownership of key B2B and B2C relationships with direct people management responsibilities, including the oversight, development, and performance management of the regional sales team. The Director Sales plays a critical role in fostering long-term partnerships while ensuring the team delivers sustained commercial results, in line with LHW's global philosophy and policy guidelines.

Acting as a key contributor to both execution and strategy, the Director Sales plays a critical role in implementing team-level sales plans and providing input into the broader regional strategy. The position requires a high level of ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence stakeholders across levels.

Time allocation:

  • 40% leadership
  • 30% strategy
  • 30% sales involvement

This is a full-time position located in Dubai. We offer flexible workplace policies that allow for working remotely 3 days a week and require being in our Dubai office 2 days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays).

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance and accountable culture
  • Set and manage performance expectations, providing regular feedback and development opportunities
  • Serve as a resource and escalation point for team challenges, both internal and client-related
  • Support sales team hiring, onboarding, and succession planning

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Drive the execution of sales plans aligned with organizational objectives and member hotel needs
  • Contribute to the development of segment, regional, or global strategies by offering market insights and team-level feedback
  • Monitor sales metrics and business trends to identify opportunities, adjust tactics, and optimize account coverage
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (global servicing, marketing, distribution, member relations) to align efforts and maximize impact
  • Ensure strong representation and value delivery for member hotels in client engagements and partnerships

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain and grow strategic client relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction, retention, and value delivery
  • Support the team in managing key accounts and navigating complex negotiations or service issues
  • Represent the organization and its member hotels at key industry events, meetings, and business reviews
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities for growth, innovation, and collaboration

Operations, Reporting, & Communication

  • Oversee accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates, ensuring visibility into team activity and performance
  • Manage team resources and budgets in alignment with strategic goals
  • Facilitate regular internal communications, sharing updates, insights, and feedback across teams and leadership
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, and systems

Requirements & Experience

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in sales, preferably in hospitality, travel, or related industries
  • 2+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Proven knowledge of the MEA luxury travel landscape and its key stakeholders, with an established regional network
  • Proven ability to manage strategic accounts and foster long-term client relationships
  • Strong business acumen with experience in sales planning, forecasting, and performance management
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-functional, and global environment
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Fluent in English and Arabic

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with the ability to develop strategic presentations and actionable reporting for internal and external stakeholders
