Role Description The Document Controller role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves organizing, maintaining, and updating project documentation in line with company standards and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include receiving, reviewing, and logging documents; ensuring correct version control; and distributing approved documents to relevant stakeholders. The Document Controller will maintain records and archives, monitor document workflows, and ensure timely retrieval of information to support ongoing projects. The role also requires close coordination with project teams, consultants, and clients to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal and external procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage and control documentation, including Document Management and Records Management skills.
- Experience preparing, organizing, and maintaining Documentation and Project Documentation throughout project lifecycles.
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a structured approach to handling large volumes of information.
- Proficiency with document management systems and common office software (e.g., MS Office, PDF tools).
- Relevant experience in engineering, construction, or consulting environments is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, business administration, information management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Cairo, meet deadlines, and follow established quality and compliance procedures.
