Job Description

Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare detailed mechanical and piping drawings including piping layouts, equipment layouts, isometrics, supports, and shop drawings.

  • Develop drawings such as General Arrangement (GA) drawings, sections, details, and as-built drawings.

  • Coordinate with Mechanical and Piping Engineers to understand design intent and incorporate engineering comments and revisions.

  • Ensure all drawings comply with Technip specifications, ADNOC standards, project requirements, and international codes.

  • Revise drawings based on site conditions, technical queries (TQs), site instructions, and change management.

  • Support construction and fabrication teams with accurate and timely drawings.

  • Maintain proper control of drawing registers, revisions, and documentation.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary coordination with Civil, Structural, E&I, and other engineering disciplines.

  • Assist in preparation and finalization of as-built drawings upon project completion.


Software & Technical Skills



  • Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory)

  • Experience in SP3D / SmartPlant / PDMS / E3D is highly preferred

  • Good understanding of piping systems, piping components, and mechanical equipment used in Oil & Gas plants

  • Familiarity with ADNOC, Technip, and international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO)


Qualifications



  • Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Draftsmanship

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage


Experience



  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in Oil & Gas plant construction projects
