Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed mechanical and piping drawings including piping layouts, equipment layouts, isometrics, supports, and shop drawings.
- Develop drawings such as General Arrangement (GA) drawings, sections, details, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with Mechanical and Piping Engineers to understand design intent and incorporate engineering comments and revisions.
- Ensure all drawings comply with Technip specifications, ADNOC standards, project requirements, and international codes.
- Revise drawings based on site conditions, technical queries (TQs), site instructions, and change management.
- Support construction and fabrication teams with accurate and timely drawings.
- Maintain proper control of drawing registers, revisions, and documentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary coordination with Civil, Structural, E&I, and other engineering disciplines.
- Assist in preparation and finalization of as-built drawings upon project completion.
Software & Technical Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Experience in SP3D / SmartPlant / PDMS / E3D is highly preferred
- Good understanding of piping systems, piping components, and mechanical equipment used in Oil & Gas plants
- Familiarity with ADNOC, Technip, and international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO)
Qualifications
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Draftsmanship
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in Oil & Gas plant construction projects
