Dutch Home Language Teacher

Role Description

This is an on-site, temporary role based in Doha, Qatar, for a Dutch Home Language Teacher. The responsibilities include planning and delivering high-quality Dutch language lessons to students, assessing their progress, and tailoring teaching methods to meet individual needs. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues, participate in parent-teacher meetings, and support the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum's educational objectives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Dutch language instruction and curriculum development
• Strong skills in lesson planning and adapting teaching methods to diverse learning styles
• Experience in assessing and monitoring student progress
• Familiarity with International Baccalaureate (IB) programs or a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and diverse educational environment
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification is a plus
• Previous experience teaching Dutch at a primary or secondary level is highly desirable
