The eCommerce Product & Technical Manager is responsible for managing all technical aspects of the company's web and app platforms. This includes handling the relationship with the external technical provider, reviewing updates and deployments, leading UX/UI improvements, and ensuring a smooth and optimized checkout and app journey. The role leads A/B testing, bug tracking, releases, and innovation for both website and app.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
Work as the Product Owner for eCommerce web and app platforms.
Gather requirements from commercial, marketing, and operations teams and translate them into product briefs.
Prioritize the product roadmap based on business impact and customer feedback.
Review and validate new features, enhancements, and improvements before development.
Technical Oversight
Manage the relationship with the third-party technical/eCommerce development company.
Approve development sprints, release plans, and deployments.
Follow up on bug fixing, performance issues, and platform stability.
Ensure timely delivery of new releases across website and app.
UX/UI & Journey Optimization
Review the full app and website user journey and propose enhancements to reduce friction.
Own the checkout flow and payment experience, ensuring maximum conversion and minimum drop-off.
Lead UX research, usability testing, and benchmarking against competitors.
A/B Testing & Analytics
Develop and manage A/B testing roadmap with the 3rd party tech company.
Measure impact of new features and UX/UI changes.
Use data to recommend improvements in layout, navigation, search, and checkout.
Qualifications
47 years in eCommerce Product Management or Technical Management.
Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (Magento, AWS, Commerce Cloud, etc.).
Experience managing apps (iOS/Android) and working with development agencies.
