- Experience: 6-10 years
- Office location: Jebal Ali Freezone
Role Purpose
To own the end-to-end digital commercial performance of 4–5 fashion brands across marketplaces and the group's DTC (direct-to-consumer) websites — driving revenue, profitability and brand-right online positioning across every digital touchpoint.
The Ecommerce Manager acts as the business owner for the online channel: full P&L accountability for the DTC websites, commercial and content stewardship of each brand's marketplace presence (Centrepoint, Amazon, Namshi, Ounass and similar platforms), and the leadership of a 4-person team delivering marketplace operations, digital merchandising, website performance and fulfillment coordination.
AI-Driven Approach: The role is expected to embed AI and automation into everyday ecommerce decisionmaking rather than treat it as a side initiative — using it to move faster and more accurately across a multibrand, multi-platform portfolio.
• Use AI-powered tools for demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, listing/content optimisation and
personalised on-site merchandising across brands and platforms.
• Apply AI-driven analytics to flag underperforming listings, pricing gaps and customer experience issues early, and to automate routine reporting across marketplaces and DTC
Key Responsibilities
1. DTC Website P&L Ownership
• Own full P&L for all DTC websites — revenue, gross margin, digital marketing spend (CAC, ROAS),
fulfillment/logistics cost, and net channel profitability.
• Set and track budgets, forecasts and monthly/quarterly business reviews for each brand's DTC
performance.
• Drive conversion rate, AOV, repeat purchase rate and customer lifetime value across all owned websites.
• Approve and monitor promotional calendars, discounting and pricing strategy to protect margin and brand
positioning.
• Partner with performance marketing to optimise paid and organic acquisition spend against ROAS and
CAC targets.
2. Multi-Brand Marketplace Management
• Own commercial performance across all marketplace accounts (e.g., Amazon, Namshi, Centrepoint, Firstcry and similar platforms) for each brand in the portfolio.
• Manage pricing strategy, buy-box/visibility health, listing quality, catalogue expansion and promotional participation per brand, per platform.
• Maintain price parity and brand-right positioning across marketplaces and DTC to avoid channel conflict.
• Track marketplace-specific KPIs (sales, conversion, ratings/reviews, return rate, account health) and resolve platform-level issues (listing suppressions, policy violations, content takedowns) quickly.
• Evaluate and onboard new marketplace opportunities where they support brand and commercial
objectives.
3. Team Leadership and Capability Building
• Lead and develop a team of 4 direct reports covering marketplace operations, DTC website/trading, digital merchandising & content, and ecommerce fulfillment/operations.
• Set clear individual KPIs, run regular performance reviews and build a culture of commercial ownership within the team.
• Prioritise and allocate team workload across 4–5 brands and multiple platforms without compromising execution quality.
4. Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Management
• Manage 3–4 core stakeholder relationships spanning brand/category teams, marketing, supply chain &warehouse/logistics, and IT/tech-platform teams.
• Align with brand/category teams on assortment, pricing architecture and seasonal launches for each of the 4–5 brands.
• Work with supply chain and logistics to ensure stock availability, delivery SLAs, returns handling and fulfillment cost efficiency across marketplaces and DTC.
• Partner with IT/tech and platform teams on website performance, integrations, catalogue feeds and marketplace API/technical issues.
• Represent the ecommerce function in senior leadership and principal/brand-partner reviews with
structured, data-led reporting.
5. Digital Merchandising, Content and Customer Experience
• Own digital merchandising strategy — homepage, category and product-page layout, cross-sell/upsell placement and seasonal campaign execution.
• Ensure product content (imagery, copy, sizing, attributes) meets brand and platform standards across all marketplaces and DTC sites.
• Monitor customer reviews, ratings and service-related feedback; drive resolution of recurring content or service issues.
• Use website and marketplace data/analytics to identify range gaps, pricing opportunities and customer experience improvements.
6. Operations, Fulfillment and Compliance
• Oversee order management, fulfilment coordination, returns and reverse logistics across marketplaces and DTC.
• Monitor and improve on-time delivery, cancellation rate, return rate and platform compliance scores per brand.
• Ensure marketplace and DTC operations comply with each platform's policies and relevant consumer/ecommerce regulations.
• Manage inventory allocation and stock-sync accuracy across channels to avoid overselling and stockouts.
