Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Coordination and Operations Officer (Education & Learning) is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and day-to-day operational delivery of education programs, workshops, tours, and public learning initiatives. The role ensures seamless execution of activities, effective stakeholder coordination, and alignment with the museum's strategic objectives and service excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of school visits, guided tours, workshops, and public programs.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Visitor Services, Security, Facilities, Marketing, Finance, and Curatorial) to ensure smooth operational delivery of education activities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for schools, universities, and educational partners regarding bookings and program logistics.
  • Prepare operational briefs, schedules, attendance reports, and activity summaries.
  • Support procurement processes related to educational materials and external service providers.
  • Monitor attendance, participant feedback, and performance indicators to support reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies during all education activities.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and scheduling of educators, facilitators, and volunteers.
  • Maintain accurate records of program data and contribute to periodic reporting and dashboard updates.
  • Support special events, outreach initiatives, and seasonal learning programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Arts Management, Museum Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations coordination, education programs, or cultural institutions.
  • Experience working in museums, cultural entities, or educational institutions is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
