Job Description

Company description:

iCredeo is an independent university and careers advisory business dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalised guidance to students and their families. With a primary focus on the UAE and Saudi Arabia, we design bespoke advisory journeys tailored to each student's academic profile, aspirations, and long-term career goals.

Drawing on over 30 years of collective professional experience in higher education and workforce development, iCredeo supports students in navigating complex educational pathways and making informed decisions aligned with their interests, strengths, and future employability. Our advice is underpinned by up-to-date insight into global university admissions trends, in-demand skills, and graduate salary outcomes, ensuring students and parents are fully informed at every stage of the journey.

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Education Strategy Consultant to join iCredeo on a fixed-term contract basis.

The Consultant will be responsible for designing a structured, end-to-end student strategy framework spanning 12, 24, and 36 months, targeted at students aged 14 and above studying in the UAE and Saudi Arabia who aspire to gain admission to top-100 universities in the UK or the US.

This role focuses on strategy design rather than day-to-day counselling. The successful candidate will create a scalable, high-impact consulting journey that can be applied across multiple student profiles while remaining adaptable to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design a holistic, 360-degree student strategy model covering academic planning, personal development, and university admissions readiness.

  • Define structured pathways for students at different starting points (e.g. age, curriculum, academic strength, target universities).
  • Identify and map knowledge, skills, and profile gaps, including recommendations for:
  • Academic tutoring and subject support (frequency and intensity where required)
  • Essay and personal statement development
  • CV, profile, and extracurricular portfolio building
  • Super-curricular activities aligned with intended fields of study
  • Provide strategic guidance on summer schools, research programmes, internships, volunteering, and summer placements, particularly those valued by top UK and US universities.
  • Incorporate guidance on decision-making milestones, parental engagement points, and motivation strategies to ensure students remain engaged throughout multi-year journeys.
  • Develop frameworks, templates, and tools that can be used consistently across students and advisors.
  • Contribute thought leadership on best practices in elite university preparation for students in the GCC context.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a strategy consultant or senior advisory professional within the higher education or education consulting sector is a must.

  • Demonstrated track record in designing or implementing educational or student development strategies, including academic planning, enrichment activities, and admissions preparation.
  • Strong understanding of UK and US university admissions processes, particularly for highly selective institutions.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insight into practical frameworks.
  • Experience facilitating workshops or structured sessions for students and parents.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs in a remote, flexible working environment.
  • Prior experience working with international students or families in the GCC is highly desirable.
