Job Description

Job Purpose:

Outlines quality assurance procedures and policies & Oversees implementation of quality procedures, understanding of quality 3rd party audits & governmental inspections.

Description:

  • Support the development of OHS policies and programs
  • Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
  • Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
  • Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
  • Creating HSE Site Action plan and follow up it on weekly basis
  • Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
  • Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
  • Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
  • Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
  • Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and Creating the OPL
  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
  • Follow up the Firefighting Systems Reports with the AMC Company and ensure that the System is Healthy all the time

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Minimum 3 years experience Working as safety Specialist
  • At least NEBOSH IGC or ISO 45001 certified internal auditor/lead auditor ISO 14001 Lead auditor
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, analytical and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficient in Arabic language reading & writing
  • Proficient in English language reading & writing
