We're Hiring: Electrical CAD Draftsman
Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract: 6 Months (Extendable based on performance)
We are looking for an experienced Electrical CAD Draftsman to join our team in Dubai on a contractual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings including layouts, schematics, single line diagrams, and shop drawings
- Develop and update CAD drawings in line with project requirements and standards
- Coordinate with electrical engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy
- Revise drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and approvals
- Maintain drawing registers and support document control activities
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project specifications
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or Drafting
- Minimum 35 years of experience as an Electrical CAD Draftsman (UAE experience preferred)
- Proficient in AutoCAD with strong MEP drafting experience
- Good understanding of electrical systems, symbols, and drafting standards
- Experience working with consultants and contractors
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
