Job Description
Job Description:
Design and estimate Fire Alarm and Detection Systems, including conventional and addressable fire alarm systems, emergency voice evacuation systems, and related life safety systems.
Prepare fire alarm system layouts, single-line diagrams, device layouts, and cable routing in compliance with project requirements.
Ensure all designs comply with NFPA 72, local authority regulations, and client specifications.
Review project drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications to prepare accurate material take-offs and cost estimates.
Estimate material, equipment, labor, and installation costs for fire alarm projects.
Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for client submissions.
Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and architectural teams to ensure proper integration of fire alarm systems.
Optimize system designs for reliability, cost-effectiveness, and code compliance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Fire Alarm System Design & Estimation.
Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, local fire codes, and authority requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and fire alarm software
