Position : Electrical Design Engineer (Wet Utility/ Pumping Stations)

Work Location : Dorsch Holding GmbH, Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi City HQ)

Work schedule: 5 days / week

Job Summary-

Electrical Design Engineer, you will lead the electrical design scope across a variety of projects in infrastructure - Wet and Dry Utility works Pumping Stations etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks./ BIM etc.
• Lead the delivery of electrical engineering design, ensuring compliance with client requirements, regional codes, statutory authorities etc.
• Conduct electrical calculations: load analysis, short-circuit analysis, cable sizing etc.
• Manage client-facing activities such as technical presentations, design reviews, authority coordination, and stakeholder meetings.
• Coordinate closely with Architecture, Structural, Civil, and other engineering disciplines to deliver fully integrated design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA ADDC, UAE Fire Code, and other authority requirements.
• Supervise junior engineers / drafting team and ensure adherence to delivery standards and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from recognized University
• Minimum 8+years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and electrical design tools
