Electrical Engineer

Company Description

Green Future Ltd is a company that invests in and develops projects for alternative energy and clean technology sectors. We are the developer of the largest Carbon Development Mechanism program of activities to subsidize the cost of solar energy heaters for households. We have developed a solar PPA project pipeline and have started erecting several PV power plants.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Electrical Engineer role located in Beirut. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for sourcing, designing, implementing, and maintaining solar PV electrical systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget and that systems are safe and reliable. The Electrical Engineer will also be required to prepare technical documentation, submit reports, and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Electrical Design, Electrical Engineering, and Electricity
• Expertise in Power Integration and Power Systems
• A Bachelor's/Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with engineering software, such as AutoCAD and ETAP
• Experience with working with national and international electrical standards and codes
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
• Experience in alternative or renewable energy projects is a plus
