Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (MEP) with experience in high-rise and mid-rise projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for execution, supervision, testing, commissioning, and documentation of electrical systems, including LV/ELV, outdoor lighting, and landscape electrical works. The candidate should ensure compliance with consultant and authority requirements, enforce HSE and QA/QC standards, and facilitate smooth project handovers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute LV/ELV systems: power, lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, and data systems.
- Manage outdoor and landscape lighting, including pathways, façade, and irrigation pump systems.
- Conduct load calculations, cable sizing, and prepare DB schedules.
- Review shop drawings, coordinate with consultants, and resolve MEP clashes.
- Lead testing, commissioning, and handover documentation in line with QA/QC standards.
- Coordinate daily with civil, mechanical, and subcontractor teams to maintain progress.
- Monitor material procurement and vendor deliveries to ensure timely availability.
- Enforce site HSE standards and conduct safety/toolbox talks.
- Maintain client and consultant relationships ensuring compliance and satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in UAE high-rise and mid-rise projects handling MEP and landscape electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm, low-current systems, and outdoor lighting.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
- Certifications in Electrical Safety, Risk Assessment, or Data Center Professional preferred.
