Position: Senior Solar Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solar Engineer with a strong background in solar energy systems design, implementation, and project management. The ideal candidate must hold a valid MMUP/UPDA certification (Grade A, B, or C) and have extensive experience in large-scale solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solar PV systems (rooftop and utility-scale).
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and energy yield analysis.
- Prepare technical proposals, drawings, and system layouts.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of solar projects.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout project execution.
- Monitor system performance and provide optimization solutions.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in solar/renewable energy projects.
- Mandatory MMUP/UPDA certification (Grade A, B, or C).
- Strong knowledge of solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope).
- Experience with Qatar regulations and Kahramaa standards is preferred.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in large-scale or utility solar projects.
- PMP certification is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
