Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer You will play a main role in planning and executing the supervision of data center projects and operation and maintenance facilities systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in machines and electrical power. Including conducting daily routine walkthrough inspections to ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the Electrical and related requirements for new u building projects, including on-site activities
- Collaborate with architects to design, estimate, and manage the installation of electrical systems.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with contractors, communicate with construction agencies, meet with construction managers, and coordinate the delivery of electrical materials with vendors.
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers and engage in commercial negotiations with bidders alongside with Purchase Officer.
- Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders on an overall basis.
- Prepare Electrical and related Progress Reports focusing on project progress, job status, and costs and submit the information to mangers.
- Preparation the annual budget for electrical requirements and manage schedules for related employees under the Estate Management department,
- Ensure the safety of workers in the campus by implementing and monitoring safety measures.
- oversee all electromechanical devices, including transformers, low-tension systems, diesel, Rectifier station, HVAC, UPS units, Inverter, and Batteries)
- Actively participate in maintenance routines to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
- Manage and coordinate electrical infrastructure projects including current devices, new implementations, modification, and extensions
- Test and accept electromechanical devices in accordance with technical specifications, contracts, and industry standards.
- review electrical installation drawings
- Provide background support for O&M (Operations and Maintenance) problem solving.
- Developing solutions, seek after Opex and Capex wise design and maintenance solutions.
- Assist The Electrical Maintenance Manager to achieving maximum availability for all electromechanical devices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2-5 Years of relevant experience.
- Good dexterity to use CAD and REVIT software.
- Good dexterity to use Microsoft office programs.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Excellent understanding technical drawings and diagrams
- Proficient in all Electrical Technical site and Office work
- Strong analytical skills, attention to details, problem solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
